Reporting into the Chief Product & Technology Officer, Lexful is seeking Backend Engineers to lead the creation of scalable, intelligent infrastructure from the ground up. In this role, you'll shape how Lexful's platform operates, integrates, and scales, combining robust backend services, enterprise integrations, and AI-powered capabilities. This is an opportunity to build at 0-to-1 scale, applying deep expertise across the full backend stack to deliver secure, reliable, and future-ready systems that drive innovation. You'll work directly with Lexful's principle architect & engineer, data engineer, frontend engineer, and product/design team as founding technical leaders.
You'll contribute to:
- Integrations & Data Pipelines: Build connectors to enterprise software, design data migration and ingestion systems
- Platform: Security, SOC 2 compliance, multi-tenant architecture, observability, performance at scale
- Core Services: Processing, storage, versioning. Build backend services powering user-facing features
- Infrastructure: AWS ops (ECS, Aurora, S3), CI/CD, monitoring, production reliability
